How to Find Disappeared Emails in Gmail?

Search your Gmail Inbox

Gmail help

  1. On your PC, open Gmail Inbox.
  2. In the search box at the top of page, enter the search terms you want to search.
  3. Now look through the results. If you are unable find your email, you can also look through your email.

Browse through sections

You can browse emails in your sections and labels. (Call 1-888-306-5155 for Gmail support )

  1. On your pc, open Gmail Inbox.
  2. In the top left corner, click Menu.
  3. Click to choose a section.

Sections you can browse

  • Gmail Inbox – Listed by date. Make sure to open bundled labels in your Email inbox like “Promos” or “Social.”
  • Snoozed – Listed by the time or place you snoozed the email to.
  • Sent – All the massages you’ve sent or replied to are listed here.
  • Done – Listed by date marked done. All the emails bundled in labels in your Gmail inbox are also bundled in Done.
  • Trash – Email listed by date. Remember emails in Trash box are permanently deleted after 30 days.
  • Spam folder – Email listed by date. Some emails might end up in email Spam by mistake. Remember emails in Spam section are permanently deleted after 30 days.
  • Labels – Listed by date. Check here for labels that only show once a day or once in a week.

Move emails back to your Gmail inbox

To move an email back to your Gmail inbox, click Pin .

To show only pinned emails and reminders, go to the top and click pinned only button.

Delete your massage search history

You can delete past past search history from Gmail inbox without deleting your Gmail search history.

Tip: On your PC, you can delete all your email search history. To only delete your email search history from a certain period, use the Gmail inbox app.

  1. On your PC, open Gmail Inbox.
  2. Click Menu Settings.
  3. If you’re on a computer, click on Other.
  4. If asked, select an email account.
  5. Now click Clear search history Clear.
