How To Resolve Gmail Loading Issues?
If email is slow or isn’t loading properly, use the steps below to fix the issue.
Step 1: Check that you’re using a browser that works with Google email
Learn about Google email’s supported web browsers.
Step 2: Check your web browser extensions or applications
Sometimes extensions or add-ons you’ve installed on your web browser or applications you’ve installed on your pc can prevent Google email from working.
Try temporarily turning off these add-ons and applications one by one, then using Google email again to see if that solves the issue.
To try using Google email without any extensions, open Google email using your browser’s incognito or private browsing mode.
Step 3: Clear your browser’s cache & cookies
Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, then using Google email again to see if that solves the issue.
Step 4: Check your Google email labs feature
If you have any labs feature turned on, try opening Gmail by visiting https://mail.google.com/?labs=0.
If that fixes the issue, disable labs one at a time to figure out which is causing the issue?
- Sign in Gmail.
- In the top right, click Settings (gear icon).
- Click at Gmail Settings.
- Click the Gmail Labs tab.
- Next to any Gmail labs you have enabled, Click to select Disable.
- At the bottom of the Gmail web page, click Save Changes button.
